Happy Sweetheart Day!

‘Kiss Me Goodbye’
9 x 12 Watercolor
Collection of Roland and Nellie Lee
I love train stations! They are so very romantic, rich with history and memories. The trains themselves are fascinating. Can you just imagine all of the love stories of families, sweethearts and friends. Think of all the adventures. I am so happy that it is now in the collection of Roland and Nellie Lee. He and Nellie lift the spirits of all those who meet them. The inspiration for this painting came from our family’s visit to the Union Station in Ogden, Utah.

Bird's Eye View

This painting was inspired by a photo I took in Yellowstone National Park. He was observing the human visitors entering the Visitor's Center as he sat upon the entrance door frame.

Garden landscapes are one of my favorite subjects to paint.  This painting reminds me of my mother. She loved the old fashioned variety of flowers: hollyhocks, lilacs, peonies. This painting was exhibited in the DSU Sears Invitational in 2019.  I sold it later to a dear friend and fellow artist, Kimberly.
